We hope that you are having an enjoyable Christmas season. May we all slow down enough to enjoy it. It has been amazing to see the shift towards freedom that has been taking place in this country. There is much to do yet, but a shift is taking place and it is towards freedom. With this momentum we must not get complacent. 

The issues with the lands in the west should be highest on the list. History proves that whoever controls the land and the resources control the people. Everything we eat, wear, live in and so on comes from the land, even this computer I am typing on came from the land. All economics, both local and abroad, depend directly on the land and the resources. True prosperity and self reliance is accomplished by harvesting the resources while caring for the land. 

Our foes understand power and have taken great measures to control the land and resources. These facts were also very clear to our founders, they took great effort to ensure that the land and resources would remain in the people hands, were it is most safe. 

Control the land and the resources and you possess the power to manipulate the people and/or oppress them. This is a historical fact. The head thinkers in these federal agencies clearly understand these facts and have become modern day conquers. 

We have posted some maps to give you a visual of how much they have taken.

4- Wild fires by satellite - caused by not allowing the forest to be logged and thinned.

5- Land that has human restricted access by federal agencies.

6- Minerals that are being locked away from the people and reserved for the federal agencies to gain.

The Bundy family and many others are working hard to make these issues right. We believe that correcting these matters will bring tremendous freedom to the people. We know that if the people will stay aware and active it can be accomplished

This painting of my dad is AMAZING! I am flooded with emotion every time I look at it. The feelings of pain, fear, anger, gratitude and the comfort I felt from my Heavenly Father all comes flooding down my face in big alligator size tears. I will never forget these feelings!

America needs to have a conversation.
Not about who deserves something and who doesn’t.
It’s not about whether Cliven Bundy deserves to graze his cattle on the land of his fathers, 
But whether he has the right to stand up for himself.

But whether one American has more rights than another.

Not about whether I am my “brother’s keeper,” but whether God will honor us for being brothers.

Not about whether our government has all the answers,
But whether we’ll have a conversation with the One who does have all the answers,
And to choose love instead of hate.

In April of 2014 I went down to Nevada to visit with the Bundy family with the idea of doing a painting. I was apprehensive, not knowing what to paint that would reflect the conflict in a proper way. As I arrived I was expecting to see a large ranch like the Ponderosa, but was met by humble people in a simple home who prayed together and spoke of their love for America. 
I was told the firsthand story of their struggle with the BLM to maintain their ranch that had been in the family for generations. As I was preparing to leave, Cliven asked to speak with me privately. He wanted to share some ideas for future paintings. He hoped I would paint a picture that would tell the story of the people who had worked hard to settle Clark County. Then he wanted to know if I could paint something to show the plight of the minorities in America. He was concerned about black Americans who are living on the dole of the US government and need to be freed from oppression. He spoke of the hard living conditions for them and also the Latino people who struggle in America. He had tears in his eyes as he rehearsed almost the same things he would notoriously speak the following day and bring the media’s ire crushing down upon him. Some have said, “Cliven should have kept his mouth shut. Those old school cowboys are just racist.” I think Cliven is the farthest thing from being a racist. He is a man of the West who loves his country and loves other people. There are many who don’t like him because he is different. He doesn’t just do what he’s told and say what he’s supposed to say.
I thought about what I should paint and felt that this painting is bigger than one man. It’s about what is important to America. What have we become? Why must people hate each other for a word? Why can’t people fight for their freedoms to the extent they fight against racial hatred? Why can’t we hug each other instead of hurt each other? 
When you see this painting, the way you view it is a reflection of the world you choose to live in. If you see racism, hate, oppression, and religious diatribe, you surely won’t like this painting. If you see the love of country, family and a prayer to the God who loves all men and women regardless of race or color, you understand what I meant when I painted, PRAY FOR AMERICA.

BLM Meeting - We are not beggars on the land

Our Dear Friends,

Tonight, the BLM is holding a public meeting on the proposed Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC). There have been many concerns of how this will affect the Ranch and, most importantly, all of Southern Nevada. 
Federal Register / Vol. 79, No.197 Notice - Outlines plans to make the Bundy ranch--and most of the rest of Southern Nevada--Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs). 90 days from October 10th, 2014, these proposals will become federal law without consent from the Nevada State legislature or the people of Southern Nevada.

Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs) are human-restricted management areas. ACECs have been a tool used by the federal government to gain further control of large masses of western lands and the resources.

As proposed, nearly 3 million acres in Southern Nevada will be locked away from the people. This includes most uses on the land (recreational, agricultural or otherwise).

Listed below are just a few of the outlined restriction that come with ACECs:

 · Excluded Trails
 · Closed to Camping
 · Closed to Recreational Vehicles
 · Closed to Motorized Travel
 · Closed to Livestock Grazing
 · Restricted Human Hiking
 · Restricted Horseback Riding
 · Exclude Group Recreations
 · Closed to Mineral Development
 · Closed to Water Access
 · Closed to Hunting / Target Shooting

 The Southern Nevada people soon will have less access to their lands than any other people in the history of this country. 
This meeting is only a front to make it look like the people have a say in this. In the end they will do what they want, when they want, and how they want, unless the people step in and do not allow them to. They are treating this land as if we are not a State--as if it were Article IV land (U.S. Territory).   
We encourage everyone to attend the meeting, but go with the understanding that we are not asking the BLM for something that is already ours. 
These lands belong to the people of the counties and the State. The U.S. Constitution does not allow the federal government to own or control these lands (Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17). It also does not allow local agencies to make federal laws without legislation (Article 1, Section 1). The government must follow the rules like everyone else. 
When you go to this meeting, go in the spirit of informing the BLM that you demand the Constitution be followed.
Inform them that they are acting outside the authority that has been given them by the people. Let them know that they can file whatever regulation they would like into the federal registry, but if it is not authorized by the people and does not follow the Constitution it will be ignored.

**FURTHER INFO (November 1, 2014)** 

Just to see if they really had me marked on the federal database, I went to Cabela's and had a back ground check completed on me. The background check came back as "Delayed". This means that the federal government does in fact have me marked at some level. Under this status I cannot buy a gun amongst other things (hard to swallow). Cabela's agreed to get the details and call me back on Wednesday/Thursday at the earliest (Thank you Joel). I guess it takes three working days to get the info back from the FBI. 

If they can do this to me, they can do this to anyone.


On Saturday I was feeling a bit down about the events that had taken place that day. My daughter and I were not able to make it to a very special event for a loved one, all due to being marked and interrogated by the TSA. And my right to buy a gun (among other things) was infringed upon because of this federal targeting. 

After returning home from Cabela's and checking on Facebook and the blog, I could not believe what was happening. Within a short amount of time nearly 400,000 people viewed the post on the Saturdays events, 940 had commented (99.9% in support for my family), and over 6100 shares (who knows how many viewed it from there). The Feds must have got the message also. 

On"Sunday" (within 24 hours) Cabela's called me and said that they were contacted by the FBI and that I was free to buy a gun. According to the FBI fact sheet, back ground checks with a Delay status are assigned to a agent and are not processed on weekends or holidays. 

We do not know if the "Domestic Terrorist" status is active, but we certainly got a quick response on the background check. Once again my family and I are indebted to the American people because of their willingness to quickly respond. I am so grateful to be surrounded by millions of honest, good people, who care and have the courage to stand when needed.

I know that if we continue to unite and strive to be good to each other, we will change the destructive patterns of culture that we find ourselves in. We can correct the many issues that infringe upon our liberties and threaten the freedom of our children.

Bundy Family at Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) Treated as DOMESTIC TERRORIST‏

November 1, 2014

This morning my twelve year old daughter and I tried to fly to Salt Lake City from Phoenix for a special event of a loved one. We had to be there by 1:00 pm in order to be a part of the occasion. Everything was going as planned until we came to the Gate B check station and the first TSA agent looked at our boarding passes. He seem a bit alarmed and asked me if my name was Ammon, I told him yes, he then circled my name and sent me down the line. I could tell there was suspicion but thought it may be because my daughter was a minor, or because my name is unusual and sometimes taken as Arabic.

When we reached the actual check station the Second TSA agent saw my boarding pass and immediately called for a Commanding Officer on the radio. Over the coarse of several minutes he called multiple times for assistance, meanwhile the line behind me was stopped and backing up. When the Commanding Officer finally came the two agents conversed privately as they looked at my barding pass and drivers license. The Commanding Officer then directed me to an area and confiscated all of our possessions along with the normal clothing checked such as my boots, belt jacket and so on.

By this time, we were feeling a bit scrutinized and those around us were staring and talking among themselves of the matter. They then escorted us to a back area were they rummaged through our items, testing it with devices and inspecting each article. The agent then began to check me physically and boy was that uncomfortable, no cavity check was completed but everything else was.

I asked the agent why we were being treated so differently and why we were selected out. He told me it was because my boarding pass was tagged with the bold letters "SSSS". He also told me that this will happen every time you fly because you are marked. Beyond that he did not disclose of anything else. My daughter then asked him if she could put her shoes back on. The agent said that she could, but that I was not to touch my possessions. He then called for his Commanding Officer.

After a few minutes, the Level Three Officer (LTO) showed up and asked me several question and wrote the answers down on a yellow sticky note. This Commanding Officer then went to a computer and began typing and reading. The whole thing was very interesting to me. I thought to myself, "WOW, Harry Reid really tagged me in the federal database as a Domestic Terrorist". I have never been charged or prosecuted with anything in my life, and yet Senator Reid, without due process, has declared me, for life, as a Domestic Terrorist. He unilaterally named me, Ammon Bundy, a terrorist against the people of this country, the people I love and would so willingly to give my life for.

After the Commanding Officer typed a few things in the computer, my boarding pass was written on and hole punched 5 times with stars mostly over the SSSS (see picture). Our possessions were then returned and we were free to go to the boarding gate. When we left the security area many people were looking at us in curiosity. The entire process took about an hour, and my daughter and I did not make our flight. We knew we would not make it to the event even if we got on another flight so we left the boarding gate area and went to ask for a refund from US Airlines.

U.S. Airlines resisted to give us a refund at first, they insisted that they could not be held accountable for what the government chose to do. I showed them the boarding pass and the SSSS, then told them why I believed I was marked and harassed. They immediately began to process the refund request, one lady said "that sends chills up my spine that they would do that to you". I thanked them and we left the airport.    

This incident reaffirmed to me the danger that the American people are in. When a very small group of elitist use the peoples power without authority, and are willing to destroy the lives of those who disagree or stand up to them, when this type of unlimited power is commonly exercised without checks and balances the people are in danger.

The County and State represenatives can and must start acting like a State. They must say NO to the Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) and bureaucratic controlled land inside the State. The federal bureacrats are not the guilty party. The responsibility lies with the County and the State officials for allowing these federal agencies to control with unlimited power what is rightfully the States to do. 

We must call upon our County and State representatives to take courage and end the unconstitutional bureaucratic control of land and resources within the State. The legal and rightful control of the land belongs to the local people. 

It is time for our State and County representative to take control of the land.  It is time that they dispose of the land to the people, open the land up for useful purposes, and protect the preemptive property rights of those in whom they are charged to serve.

Feds Retaliate against the Bundy Ranch and the Southern Nevada People

On Friday October 10th, 2014 a Notice from the federal registry reveals that the federal government is mounting retaliations against the Bundy family and the Southern Nevada people.

 This is a direct assault on the State of Nevada. It is also a deliberate retaliation against the people for standing against the horrific action of several federal agencies at the Bundy ranch.

 The boldness of the federal government’s timing and action on these matters are astonishing. They are again making a clear case that they are willing to use federal power to punish the local people. Harry Reid’s declaration “This is not over” is proving to be uncharacteristically accurate.

 Before the Bundy ranch standoff, there were approximately 1 million acres of ACECs in Southern Nevada. Now after the Bundy standoff, the BLM is proposing an additional 1.8 Million acres (a 280% increase) all of which just happens to be in Southern Nevada.

 Although this is not proof, anybody with a little intelligence can see that Harry Reid and the BLM are not protecting the environment; they are punishing their enemies.

 How is it that all newly proposed critical environmental land in the Untied States just happens to reside within miles of the Bundy ranch? Is the land in Southern Nevada so different/dangerous/special/delicate and important?

From near the beginning of history, tyrannical men have sought to oppress through the control of land and resources, "Control the land and resources, and you have the power to control the people". There is a direct correlation to land and resources with power and wealth. All major powers in world history have gained their power & wealth by conquering the land and controlling the resources. 

 It is self-evident that certain men within our government understand this and have implemented these age-old tactics upon the people of this country. For decades they have used government to gain power & wealth for themselves by controlling the land and resources.

 Our founding fathers understood this nature, they drafted the Constitution to protect us from the despotic men that history is so full of. They limited the powers of government by outlining what lands the federal government can control and by separating the powers they hold. Their intent was to quickly dispose the land and resources to the local people, where it is most safe. 

 Under federal rule, the people that live on or near the land have no say to what happens in their own backyards. They have no republic form of government. The decisions are all made by appointed representatives from Washington D.C. These representatives have no responsibility to the people and there is no practical legal way to hold them accountable. In direct violation of the U.S. Constitution federal agencies use the lands as their own and suppress the rightful stewards.

 At the moment of Statehood land inside the new State is no longer U.S. Territory, and no longer does U.S. Congress or any of the federal agencies have authority to dispose of the land or make any rules or regulations respecting to it. At Statehood it becomes the right and duty of the people of the State to dispose of and regulate all the lands within the boarders of that State. This is called a republic form of government, for the people, by the people. 

 The incident at the Bundy ranch indicates that people are beginning to question the legitimacy of federally controlled lands within their State. It also proves that the people have the courage to stand against despotic government actions. The purpose of the federal government is to protect and uphold the rights of the people, not to profit from the spoils in taking their lands and resources away.

The recent action of the BLM in creating new federal code (ACECs) to expand their control and power by restricting the people further from their lands is a continuation of illegally controlling land with-in a State.

 We call upon our County and State representatives to take courage and end the unconstitutional federal control of land and resources within the State. The legal and rightful control of the land belongs to the local people. The land within the State must be returned to people in a republic form of government. It is time for the State to dispose of the land to the people, open the land up for useful purposes, and protect the preemptive property rights of the people. 

 Lest there be any confusion regarding how these new federal rules impact the Bundy family, we will continue ranching as our family has done in the Southern Nevada area for over 137 years. We intend to use our preemptive property rights of grazing and water, the rights that Nevada State law both recognizes and is charged to protect.

 We are not intimidated by the past action of the federal government, nor will we yield to their future attempt to subdue the State or the people. We refuse to submit to unconstitutional codes and regulation that dismantle Statehood and deprived our American neighbors and ourselves of the unalienable right so many of our kinsmen suffered and died for.

The political ad plays out like a parody, a “Saturday Night Live” skit: two dusty cowboys standing near the barn trading country talk. But the thing is this: This pair is serious.  The gray-haired rancher plays himself in a two-minute Web video promoting Kamau Bakari, an Independent American Party candidate and African American, against Democratic Rep. Dina Titus. The ad portrays candidate and cowboy as straight talkers who don’t care what anyone thinks — even if they ruffle some feathers. lRelated Horseback protest targets BLM, but environmentalists say whoa NATION Horseback protest targets BLM, but environmentalists say whoa SEE ALL RELATED 8 To make his point, Bundy even resurrects some comments about African Americans and slavery that drew criticism nationwide. “I know that black folks have had a hard time with, uh, slavery,” he says at one point. “And, you know, the government was in on it.”

 Reached at his ranch in rural Bunkerville, about 70 miles north of Las Vegas, Bundy told the Los Angeles Times that the Bakari campaign approached him about the ad, which was filmed about a week ago. “We basically recited our lines, what he wanted,” Bundy said. Bundy said he liked the idea of a frank talk about race, “so it’s an open thing.”

The ad starts with a clip of a speech given by Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr., who is black, saying that when it comes to race, America “is a nation of cowards.” Shift to Bundy and Bakari, wearing tall hats, standing in front of a white horse. “Did he just call me a coward?” Bundy asks. Says Bakari: “No, he just called all white folks cowards.” “He must not know me,” Bundy replies.

Running theme in the ad is political correctness, and the men denounce it while praising those who speak their minds. Bakari presents the irascible rancher with a scenario and a question: If he were called a racist for something, would he be scared and apologize “like those billionaire ball team owners did a little while ago?” Bundy replies that he wouldn’t and that he’s “sick and tired of people who act like that.” Bundy adds that a man ought to be able to express himself without being called names. And then Bakari says (seriously), “A brave white man like you might be just what we need to put an end to this political correctness stuff in America.”

The ad, which has gotten more than 50,000 hits on YouTube, is paid for by the Committee to Elect Kamau Bakari, but feels like it’s Bundy running for office, not Bakari. Bundy now has some second thoughts about his appearance, especially the line: “It's almost like black folks think white folks owe them something.” The rancher, who recently joined the Independent American Party, said the line was scripted and adds that he now realizes he doesn’t believe it. “I thought to myself last night, ‘Well, that was kind of a prejudiced statement,’” he said. “I stand for more than that. I stand for the rights of the individual so it wasn’t right to profile these people. I want to be more fair than that. I really feel like everybody in that black community would have to be asked whether they think the white man owes them something.” Which sounds suspiciously like an apology.

 Still, Bundy isn’t running for any political office. At least not yet. “If they asked me, I’d just tell them that I’m busy being a rancher and a father.” And fighting the federal government.

Bundy Family Statement on Neglect Charges against Cliven Bundy

 Last week, in the Clark County District Court, Danielle Beck filed a lawsuit against Cliven Bundy for “recklessly, carelessly and negligently allowing his cows to enter onto Interstate 15. Danielle reportedly ran into a distressed cow on I-15 the night of April 13th.

 As we learn more details of Danielle Beck and her accident we are grateful that she was not injured further. We are also thankful that she has returned to work and hope her life is back to normal. As for the charges against Cliven, they are ironic, humorous and come with questionable motives.

 On March 25th, The Bureau of Land Management along with at least 4 other federal agencies came onto the Bundy Range and set up a military like compound. On April 5th they locked down the range surrounded the ranch with sniper and heavily armed federally hired mercenaries. Placing armed militants and advanced surveillance equipment on ever entry point of the range. They verbally and physically threatened the community (especially the Bundy's) with their lives if they left the paved roads.

 The Bundy family and community members were gang beaten, captured and tortured, thrown to the pavement, tasered multiple times with dogs siced on them, all simply for expressing their first amendment rights in distaste for the excessive display of force by our federal government.

During this historical week we were unable to freely go on the range to check the cattle's whereabouts or their condition. The federal agencies were gathering the cattle by helicopter, shooting them by air, scattering them and separating the mother's from their calves (many calves and cattle were killed).

The Bundy cattle that lived were put in extreme distress and disorientation. It was not until April 12 (Saturday) after over a thousand protesters went up to the compound and forced the flight of the federal agencies and returned the captured cattle, that we could freely get on the range to check the damages and the remaining herd.

 It was the very next night that Danielle Beck hit one of the distressed cattle. By this time the surviving cattle had been scattered by air into areas they normally may not have gone, shot at, sore footed, many captured and held inhumanly. They were looking for their calves and looking for water.
So here is the irony, Cliven's life would have been taken by federal agents if he would have checked on the cattle, yet he is charged for neglect, carelessness and recklessness for not doing so. We do not have to point out who was reckless, careless and negligent?

 If Bob Apple, Danielle Beck's lawyer cared for his client more than just getting his name in the paper, he would go after the federal agencies who caused the cattle to be distressed enough to go through a state maintained fence and onto the freeway. Or, he would go after the State of Nevada who bears the responsibility in maintaining the freeway fences and gates.

 The humorous part is that both the State and the feds have more funds to pay out than some poor rancher driving a 13 year old beat up pick up, living in a 1200 square foot home (without air conditioning) a home that he has primarily lived in since he was 4 years old. But the lawyer knows Cliven cannot defend himself as well as the State and feds can, so who does he sue?

 We do not blame attorney Bob Apple for going after the easy prey, it is some lawyer's nature to do so. This whole incident is just another example of what happens when the federal government oversteps it's bounds and tries to meddle in matters that they do not have jurisdiction or authority over.
